Kat talks to Ursula Krystek-Walton, Head of Early Years at Thrive Childcare and Education about supporting children and families post-COVID, with a key focus on self-regulation and promoting children’s emotional and physical wellbeing as an essential foundation for all learning and development to take place.
Ursula has worked in the EY industry for 25 years in various roles including Nursery Manager, Early Years Trainer, Child Protection lead and Early Years Quality Improvement Manager in the Private sector, and has a first-class degree in Childhood Studies and is currently reading for a Masters degree. Ursula currently supports quality improvement across 46 nurseries in Scotland and England and before joining Thrive Childcare and Education, worked at the National Day Nurseries Association as an Early Years Advisor.
