Our March 2021 update is designed to streamline the transfer process to Nursery Story. Parents will also benefit from receiving push notifications and message attachments on their smartphones!

Parent App Push Notifications
Parents will now receive a notification on their mobile device if the nursery posts an EYFS observation, general observation, an accident/incident or the parent receives a message. Plus, they can now view videos in the feed and send them via messenger.

Nursery Story for Parents
The recent version of Nursery Story Parent App allows parents to receive push-notifications and message attachments so you never miss a moment of your child’s progress.
Baseline Reports
Settings are now able to set a baseline report for children. This is particularly useful for when you are transferring your setting over to Nursery Story or when a new child joins the nursery.
Message Attachments
Settings are now able to send attachments to parents using the messaging feature. All you need to do is click the paperclip icon when using the messaging feature and you are able to attach newsletters and other useful information to parents.
Meal Guessing Functionality
The meal guessing functionality has been reinstated, but this now only links to each individual setting’s database of food that has been inputted.
Next Steps
There is now the option to add next steps to EYFS observations. These will be shared to the Parent App when you post the observation.
Draft Observations for Two Year Progress Checks
You are now able to save a draft of the Two year progress check so that you can go back and complete this at a later date.
